About the event

Are you inspired by the view of Canmore’s spectacular Rocky Mountains, but don’t feel the need to climb Ha Ling Peak or even hike to Grassi Lakes? Is a short, in town, flat trail more your speed?

If yes, then these easy Canmore townsite walks are for you!

Join your neighbours on the third walk in our series of easy walking loops, starting and ending at The Malcolm Hotel in the lobby,  just outside The Pulse coffee shop. All walks are within the main townsite, flat and are mainly on quiet forested trails. Walking routes pass by the Bow River, creeks and historic sites and include Canmore's Main Street. An optional stop at a downtown coffee shop or bakery will be contemplated by each walking group…near the end of the walk!

This third walk in our series will follow the "Larch Loop" Route (6.6 km).  For more information on the trail please visit: https://canmorealberta.com/canmore-stories/larch-loop

No special equipment is required.

All walks are on flat terraine and within the Town of Canmore main townsite.

Comfortable footwear, suitable for weather conditions

All walks will proceed rain or shine.

See 'Easy Walking Loops for the Whole Family in Canmore' at the canmorealberta.com website for route descriptions and maps.
