About the event
Come join SCPOA friends on Thursday, July 31st 2025 for a fun hike outing!! The Rummel Lake Hike is an enjoyable walk through a mountain forest and an open meadow with incredible vistas of the Spray Lakes Valley and past a beautiful lake with the Rocky Mountains looming overhead.
We will meet at 9:10 outside The Pulse Cafe in The Malcolm Hotel to prepare for a 9:30 departure. Please, be on time.
From the hotel, we will drive approximately 40 minutes up the Spray Lakes Road and will park on the shoulder at Mt. Engadine turnoff. Please note, cars require a "K conservation pass" to park in Spray Valley Provincial Park.
We typically travel in informally arranged car pools. If you are planning to attend, please feel free to arrange your ride with fellow SCPOA members or pooling can be done when we meet.
