ROAM Free Bus Ride and Discover Grassi Lakes

On another installment of SCPOA walks, we are leaving the townsite and heading to the mountains. Supporting the 'free Roam Bus Service' that passes through our neighborhood, we are hopping on a bus and heading up to Grassi Lakes.

On another installment of SCPOA walks, we are leaving the townsite and heading to the mountains. Supporting the 'free Roam Bus Service' that passes through our neighborhood, we are hopping on a bus and heading up to Grassi Lakes.
(FYI -The number 12 ROAM BUS route is currently on a 'Summer Try Out' and is only available throughout the season on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holiday Mondays. It goes to Quarry Park, The Nordic Centre, and Grassi Lakes on a regular schedule. It's a great way to avoid parking difficulties and enjoy the local attractions, and if used by a steady number of riders, it may be extended.)
At the Grassi Lakes site, we will walk up the trails to the Lakes to enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful scenery. The trails are approximately 4.1 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 158 meters. (Please note, Grassi Lake Interpretive trail…
