About the event
Ever wondered where the original Canmore Opera House was located? Or why locals call the north end of Three Sisters Drive "Hospital Hill"?
If you have, then come and join us on this easy 4 kilometre walk through the Mineside area and learn about its history.
Lead by Gary Smith, this walk will start at The Malcolm Hotel. Everyone is asked to meet outside The Pulse Cafe at 9:00 a.m.
Our walk will take us through historical sites, along the route of the old coal railroad and across the iconic Engine Bridge.
*Please Note: All attendees are required to sign the SCPOA Waiver Form to participate in this activity. The form can be found on the SCPOA website under "Upcoming Events and Activities." Please bring the completed waiver form with you to the event.
