About the event
Come and enjoy the beauty of nature on a "Winter Hike" with your Spring Creek neighbours.
We will be going along nearby Grotto Canyon where we will see ancient pictographs, frozen waterfalls and some amazing geologic formations while hiking through a slot canyon! We might also learn some mountain geology along the way from trip leader, Gary Smith!
The hike will be approximately 5 kilometres in length roundtrip with an elevation gain of 195 metres. The hike will take approximately 2 and 1/2 hours to complete.
*Please Note: All attendees are required to sign the SCPOA Waiver Form to participate in this activity. The form can be found on the SCPOA website under "Upcoming Events and Activities." Please bring the completed waiver form with you to the event.
