About the event
This annual event has been a long standing "Kernick tradition" and has been around much longer than the neighbourhood you see now! Spring Creek staff and homeowners gather to preserve the beauty of our lovely Spring Creek community. Everyone is invited to help with tidying-up and refreshing our parks, pathways and sidewalks and, for those comfortable in hip waders, our creeks.
Volunteers will meet at the courtyard behind Origin (accessed from the Mews road behind the building) at 1:45 p.m. to receive supplies and to be assigned a "clean-up" area.
Volunteers are asked to bring garden gloves, rubber boots or hip waders, if you have them. Plastic gloves and garbage bags will be provided.
Trash grabbers and hip waders will be available on a first come, first served basis.
After the clean-up is done, volunteers are invited to a Barbecue in the Origin courtyard at 4:00 p.m. to thank you…
