About the event
If you're a first timer, let us fill you in on what to expect. This annual event has been a long standing Kernick tradition and has been around much longer than the neighbourhood you see now! Spring Creek staff across all businesses and homeowners gather to take care of the beauty that we work and live in by picking up unsightly trash from the parks and creeks. Yup, there are a few sets of hip waders available for those who want to get in the creeks!
It's always a fun way to spend a Friday afternoon! To thank you for your efforts, there is a free BBQ, drinks, and live music.
Weather permitting, please meet at the courtyard behind Origin (this can be accessed from the Mews road behind the building) at 2:00pm to receive clean-up supplies and be assigned to a clean-up area. There are limited spaces as it is a popular event, so please arrive on time to be assigned an area.
Bring garden gloves, rubber boots or hip waders if you have them! Plastic gloves and garbage bags will be provided. Trash grabbers and hip waders will be available on a first come first served basis.
The BBQ will be from 4:00 - 5:30PM in the courtyard behind Origin.
